 TVNZ's "Sensing Murder" was highly popular in New Zealand. Using only a photograph or piece of jewellery to help her spiritually connect with the victim, Sue was asked to produce intimate details of the victim, the crime and the perpetrator, with the aim of producing new leads for the police to follow up.

The results were described by one reviewer as "gobsmacking"
